Introducing the Online Inquiry System
Welcome to The Hitachi Foundation’s online inquiry system for our Business and Work Program. We appreciate your interest in the work of the Foundation and the projects we support. Our online inquiry system offers a user-friendly, universally accessible way for nonprofit organizations to send us information about project ideas and receive our response as to whether your project meets our criteria for further consideration.

Purpose of the System
This online inquiry system allows grant seekers to outline a project idea. If the idea meshes with the priorities of our Business and Work Program, your organization may be invited to submit a concept paper or a complete proposal.

Getting Started
Please review our Guidelines for Grant Seekers before preparing and submitting the online inquiry form. The guidelines detail eligibility requirements, grantmaking objectives and priorities, and criteria for selecting projects for support.

Note Eligibility Requirements
You should only complete this online inquiry form if your organization and project meet all eligibility requirements and our grantmaking priorities. Only those projects that most closely match these priorities can be considered for support. Therefore, organizations and projects that don’t meet all the requirements will not be considered, and your time entailed in completing an online inquiry form would be better focused on other funding sources.
